New: Facebook Reels and video feed protection on iOS

NoLoop now helps you block or interrupt Facebook Reels, video, and feed loops in Safari on iPhone and iPad.

NoLoop can now protect Facebook in Safari on iPhone and iPad.

When you enable NoLoop for facebook.com, it can block or interrupt the Facebook feed, Reels, and video surfaces that can turn a quick visit into an open-ended scrolling session. You can still use Facebook for the thing you meant to do—such as opening a group, event, Marketplace listing, profile, or message—without making the feed the default destination.

Facebook access without the automatic loop

Facebook is not one thing. It can be where you find a local event, check a community group, answer a message, or follow up on a listing. It can also be where one video rolls into another and a brief visit becomes an hour.

NoLoop is built for the space between deleting Facebook and leaving every surface open. It applies the same protection philosophy already available for Instagram: preserve intentional browser access and put a clear stopping point in front of the feed, Reels, and autoplaying video loops.

How it works on iPhone and iPad

NoLoop is an iOS app with a Safari extension. After enabling the extension for facebook.com, choose your protection level in NoLoop, then open Facebook in Safari. When you reach a protected feed, Reel, or video surface, NoLoop interrupts the automatic continuation and gives you a moment to choose what happens next.

The protection is local to your device. NoLoop does not collect your Facebook browsing activity, and it does not need your Facebook password. Your Facebook sign-in remains between you and Facebook or Meta.

Safari, not the native Facebook app

Facebook protection works on facebook.com in Safari on iPhone and iPad. NoLoop does not control the native Facebook app or change Facebook’s algorithm. If you prefer a direct route, create a Home Screen shortcut that opens Facebook in Safari with NoLoop enabled.
