What is Following only?
Following only is a NoLoop setting that redirects Instagram's home/posts view to Instagram's Following feed, so you only view posts from accounts you follow.
Does Following only change Instagram's algorithm?
No. Following only does not change Instagram's algorithm. It opens Instagram's Following feed when you visit the home/posts view in Safari.
Will Following only remove all recommendations everywhere on Instagram?
No. Following only changes the starting home/posts view. Other parts of Instagram may still include recommendations.
Does Following only block Messages, profiles, or search?
